A premium MTB launch — one shoot, three channels, hundreds of finished assets.

Waltx came to us with a flagship trail bike about to enter the Indian market and a tight production window. They needed imagery that could carry the brand across marketplace listings, social campaigns, and dealer-facing collateral — all from a single coordinated production.

The audience: aspirational riders comparing premium MTBs in a rapidly maturing category. The constraint: every image had to read instantly in a feed crowded with competitors, while also holding up under closer inspection on the product detail page.

The creative direction settled on a controlled studio environment that let the bike's silhouette do the heavy lifting — clean black seamless background, hard-edged side light to define the frame geometry, and a softer fill on the drivetrain side to keep mechanical detail readable. The goal: a frame that looks unambiguously premium next to anything else in the listing carousel.

From there the shot list opened up — three-quarter heroes for hero banners, dead-on profiles for spec pages, isolated component close-ups (tyre tread, frame welds, shifter detail) for technical storytelling. Each setup tethered live, so the brand team could review and approve in real time without leaving their desks.

One week of pre-production locked the shot list, references and styling approach. Four days on set ran in two tight chunks — hero and three-quarter setups front-loaded so the brand team could sign off early, with detail and macro work back-loaded for the days the bike could be partially disassembled. Two weeks of post-production followed, with versions and crops cut for marketplace, web, social and out-of-home in parallel rather than sequentially.

The trickiest moment was the reflective component work — a polished crank set, chrome shifter detail, brake rotors — all of which fight against contrast. We rebuilt the lighting from the ground up between the hero shoot and the detail block, swapping hard light for a series of large, shaped soft sources and using polarisation to control unwanted reflections. The result reads premium without looking over-retouched.

The launch carousel went live across marketplace and the brand's own storefront together, with the same hero asset anchoring social and dealer collateral. The shoot has become the visual baseline for everything Waltx ships in this product line — from product detail pages to seasonal campaign refreshes — and the relationship has continued into subsequent product launches.
