Led by product photographer Susheel Chandradhas, the ColoursAlive team brings two decades of experience across advertising, graphic design and commercial photography.

Principal photographer Susheel Chandradhas has been shooting commercial product photography since 2004 — across FMCG, electronics, fashion, food, industrial goods, and more. Studio built for catalogue throughput

Our dedicated shooting floor at Fortune Studios, Pallikaranai (36ft × 24ft × 12.5ft) is configured for consistency and speed. Black and white seamless concrete backgrounds, calibrated lighting, and a full retouching pipeline mean we can move through high-volume catalogues without sacrificing image quality per SKU.

Marketplace-ready deliverables

We know the spec requirements for Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho and direct-to-consumer storefronts. Files are exported with the right dimensions, colour profiles, backgrounds and naming conventions — ready to upload without additional work on your end.

Brief & Quote

Send us your product list with quantities, categories and any special requirements. We'll confirm the scope, timeline and pricing, then schedule a shoot date.

Ship & Prep

Products arrive at our Pallikaranai studio clean, assembled and undamaged. We sort and organise by category before shoot day to keep the session moving.

Studio Shoot

We photograph each SKU to the agreed shot list — front, back, sides, detail angles — with consistent lighting and crop throughout. Clients may review tethered during the session.

Retouch & Deliver

Post-production covers clipping paths, background removal, colour correction and blemish removal. Finals are delivered via cloud link (Dropbox or WeTransfer) in all required formats and ratios.

Do you shoot on location?

Yes — available in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and pan-India for larger projects. Location shoots require designated space and electricity, and travel/logistics are added to the quote.

What kinds of products can you shoot?

From large items like bicycles to small table-top items and delicate pieces like jewellery. If your category isn't obvious, send us a brief — we've probably shot adjacent work.

Do you offer product styling and set design?

Yes, as part of our advertising photography package. For pure catalogue work styling is usually minimal; for lifestyle and campaign imagery we build out the set.

What condition do products need to arrive in?

Undamaged, clean, well-assembled, with perfect printing and alignment on packaging. Damaged or unfinished samples slow the shoot — please send finals where possible.

How do you price eCommerce photography?

We price by project based on number of SKUs, product types, number of angles per product, and any special requirements like styling or props. Higher volumes attract better per-unit rates — a 100-SKU catalogue costs significantly less per image than a 10-SKU shoot. Send us your list and we'll quote clearly.

Can I get retouching for products I already have photos of?

Yes — retouching-only briefs are available. We can handle background removal, colour correction, blemish removal and compositing on images shot by you or another photographer.
